TAOIST SEXUAL CULTIVATION METHODS
The two methods of Taoist sexual cultivation are single or dual
practice. The single practice consists of either Raising the Phoenix
(for female), or Crouching Tiger practice (for male). The dual
cultivation method involves exchanging Yin & Yang Qi with a partner.
The Taoist belief is that the entire universe is an oscillation of Yin
and Yang forces. These two forces arise and work together, not in
opposition but as complementary components. 1. Raising the Phoenix – Taoist female sexual cultivation method
When this philosophy is applied to sexual cultivation methods for
women, Yin refers to feminine energy and the water element, the ” Yin
Essence - the sexual energy ”. Because of the complementary nature of
the components Yin includes Yang, which has properties of masculine
and strength energy, “the pure Yang – the Qi”.
In this practice, Master Liu will lead you step by step to a deeper
acknowledgment of the female Qi centre, by relaxing and releasing the
tension of mind and body to build sexual confidence and awaken it’s
desire. When the “Yin essence” and “pure Yang ” are harmonised within
you, desire can be converted into love and compassion and essence and
Qi into spirit, which will rejuvenate, create youthfulness and well
being. 2. Crouching Tiger – Taoist Male sexual cultivation method
The male Qi centre is located at the lower Dan Tian, which Taoist call
the energy of white tiger. Mental stress, shallow breathing, lack of
physical exercise and negative emotions have the potential to exhaust
this sexual energy.
In this workshop Master Liu will lead you in a guided meditation that
is centred around a reverse breathing method that can enhance sexual
strength confidence and open up your Qi channels. The purpose of this
meditation practise is to strengthen Yang Qi, creating sexual vitality
and general well being. The practice also aims to harmonise the Yin
and Yang internal energies, which in turn nourishes the feminine
spirit of love, caring and compassion.
